International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show 2010

The 2010 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment show is predicted to be one of Australia’s largest transport exhibitions, as all major truck and trailer manufacturers and key ancillary equipment suppliers have thrown their support behind the March 18–20 event. The 2010 show is now shaping up to be around 30 per cent larger than the last ITTE Show.
With the show still more than nine months away, space sales already exceed that of the inaugural 2008 event and organisers have confirmed that the Exhibition Pavilion (or Trailer Manufacturers’ Pavilion, as it has come to be known), the Grand Pavilion, Agricultural Hall and Centenary Hall are all now completely sold out. Most outdoor display space is also booked, too.
The support for the show has not just come in the form of exhibitors confirming their attendance. Organisers are pleased to announce that the Victorian Transport Association, Shell, SEN 1116, Moreton Hire and Freightmatch have all climbed on board as official Platinum Partners.
Many key innovations at next year’s ITTE Show have the industry brimming with excitement, along with the availability of a new indoor truck manufacturers’ pavilion and two new ancillary equipment supplier pavilions.
Western Star Trucks and MAN Automotive Imports will be housed in the new truck manufacturers’ pavilion, meaning that Kenworth, Mercedes-Benz, Iveco/International Trucks and Western Star/MAN will now have their own individual homes to entertain both existing and potential clients, as well as showing off their latest product and service offerings. In addition to this, all other remaining truck manufacturers will utilise the same or larger footprints than in 2008.
The introduction of the moving equipment display area has been extremely popular amongst exhibitors. Suppliers of cranes, side loaders and hooklifts, just to name a few, have been jumping at the opportunity to be able to demonstrate their products and innovations in a simulated working situation.
The 2010 ITTE Show also has the backing and support of some of the biggest transport names in the country. In the coming months some of Australia’s largest fleets will be fitting out B-Double trailer sets with truck show livery, in a promotional campaign that will reach all corners of the country – guaranteeing that everyone within our industry will know exactly what to expect come March next year.
